Art always had a kind word for everyone -- and often a kind deed. Nothing heroic, he'd just let you be who you were, and respect it. That's not to say he would tolerate any type of behavior. He also held people to high standards -- the same high standard he would always try to meet. Everyone who knew Art was a little better for the experience, me included.
